80's Trap Machine

I am a millennial. However, before you pass judgment on our incredible known skillset of FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out), this millennial was born in the ’80s! Musically the ’80s were filled with big hair, loud guitars, electronic drums, and yes of course synthesizers. Prior to my transition into tech, I spent many years in and out of recording studios as a music producer. Luckily, I’ve had the pleasure of working with some of my musical heroes and at certain points, musical heroes that became enemies. Needless to say, I have a very deep connection to and very high interest in the sound of, 80’s music.

Fast forward to today, I found myself tinkering with 80’s sound samples & synthesizers in my production studio recently and came up with this idea. The 80’s Trap Machine is a web application designed for creatives, especially 80’s loving music heads who find themselves in mid-day boredom, looking for an escape to create the soundscape of what the ’80s and modern-day Trap Music would sound like. The application allows you to trigger color-coded audio samples from your keyboard, in efforts to create your very own 80’s Trap masterpiece. Rock On & Long Live The Trap!
